In a significant move toward promoting better welfare food sourcing, Malaysia Cage-Free Egg Producer’s Organisation (MCFEPO) has launched the Cage-Free Implementation Star Rating, a pioneering platform that publicly tracks corporate progress in fulfilling cage-free egg commitments in Malaysia.

Cage-free egg production does not entail such inherent animal welfare disadvantages and is a step in the right direction for the egg industry.
