Malaysia — Applause Café 1000 Telur has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first café in Asia to be awarded Certified Humane® status, marking a significant advancement for animal welfare, ethical food sourcing, and sustainable food systems in the region.
This recognition reflects Applause Café 1000 Telur’s unwavering commitment to sourcing 100% Certified Humane®, free-range eggs, ensuring that animal welfare principles are embedded throughout its menu and supply chain. Certified Humane® standards are internationally recognised and independently audited, guaranteeing that laying hens are raised in environments that allow natural behaviours, humane handling, adequate space, and responsible farm management practices.
From its founding, Applause Café 1000 Telur has been guided by the belief that high-quality food must begin with responsible choices.
