At the helm of the organization stands a team of seasoned professionals, each bringing their unique expertise and insights to the table. Dr. Saravanakumar S. Pillai, a respected figure in the field of cage free and Senior Advisor, Farm Animal Welfare, Policy and Engagement of HSI assumes the role of Advisor, providing invaluable guidance and strategic direction to the organization.
Leading the charge as Chairman is Mr. Shunmugam Sethuraman, a visionary leader with a deep-rooted passion for sustainable agriculture. With his wealth of experience and unwavering commitment, Mr. Shanmugam plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's strategic priorities and long-term vision.
Mr. Haraveen Rajamurthi takes on the mantle of Secretary, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless coordination among various stakeholders. His meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach proves instrumental in driving organizational efficiency.
In charge of financial affairs is Mr. Meor Ezree, who assumes the role of Treasurer. With a keen eye for numbers and a strong grasp of financial management principles, Mr. Meor plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization's fiscal health and sustainability.
Together with four other dedicated office bearers, the leadership team for the term 2023/2024 is poised to lead the organization towards its overarching goal: to serve as a voice for small cage-free- and free-range farmers and advocate for policies that uplift the welfare of more higher welfare layer producers across Malaysia.
