Introduction

Welcome to the Malaysia Cage-Free Egg Producer’s Cooperative Limited, a major initiative created to be the main source of supply of cage-free egg in Malaysia. Our cooperative is committed to uniting existing, new and future cage-free egg producers under a shared vision of ethical and sustainable egg production. We offer technical support and help secure the financial support to our members to ensure they have the resources and expertise they need to move towards cage-free egg production.

This will facilitate improvements in infrastructure and production capabilities. Additionally, our team facilitates audits for the Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) international certification program. Once our team prepares the farm for inspection, HFAC auditors check farms for adherence to the animal welfare standard for laying hens, which covers management, nutrition, veterinary care, space, air quality, and dozens of additional requirements.
